Swarovski polygons (2)
Silver plated bead cap (4)
Silver plated chain (8 inches)
24 gauge silver plated wire (6 inches)
Sterling silver ear wires (2)
Round nose pliers
Needle Nose pliers
Wire cutters
Instructions:
1. Cut
the chain into two pieces that measure 4 inches each.
2. Use
your needle nose pliers to open the loop at the bottom of your ear wire.
3. Fold
one 4 inch piece of chain in half.
Thread the center chain link onto the ear wire loop.
4. Carefully
close the ear wire loop.
5. Cut
your 24 gauge wire into two piece that measure 3 inches each. With your needle nose pliers, hold onto the
wire 1 inch from the end. Bend the wire
over the pliers to form a 90 degree corner.
6. Form
a loop above the corner with your round nose pliers.
7.
Slide
the formed wire loop through the last link in one side of your chain, so they
become interlinked. The loops should be able to swing freely.
8.
Use
your wire wrapping technique to wrap the wire loop closed and cut off any
excess wire. The wire should now be
securely attached to the chain.
9. Thread
one bead cap, one crystal and one bead cap onto the wire.
10. Use your needle nose
pliers to bend the headpin above the beads.
Then, use the round nose pliers form a loop in the wire above the beads.
11. Slide the formed wire
loop through the last link in the other side of your chain, so they become
interlinked. The loops should be able to swing freely.
