Roller Coaster Bracelet Tutorial

Roller Coaster Bracelet

Required for this Project:
5mm brass rollo chain (three pieces, each 7 inches long)
2mm leather (6 feet)
Brass nugget with 2mm hole (2)
Cutters for leather

String the leather through the first link on all three pieces of chain.  Place the chains in the center of the leather.

Skip one link of the chain, and thread the right side of the leather through all three chain links (as shown below).  Then pull the leather all the way through.

Pass the left side of the leather through the same chain links, keeping this strand of leather on top of the first strand (as shown below).

Then pull the leather all the way through.

Keep threading your leather through every other link in the chains.  Make sure you are consistent, keeping one strand of leather on top and the other on the bottom throughout the bracelet.   This is what it will look like when you pass through the last link of the chains.

Take one piece of the leather and pass through the first links of the chain again.

Pull the leather through, and it will begin to pull the two ends of the bracelet together.

Pass the second piece of leather through the first links.

Pull the leather all the way through.  This is the basic structure of the bracelet.  Put it on your hand, like you're putting the bracelet on.  Make sure there is enough leather to easily fit over the widest part of your hand (as shown below).

Without pulling the leather tighter, put one nugget on one of the leather pieces and tie a knot under the nugget.  Cut the leather off just under the knot.  Repeat on the other side.

Pull on the leather strand to tighten the bracelet.  It is fully adjustable from 7-8 inches.
