Barbara's Amazing Collar

Imagine my glee when THIS gorgeous "project in progress" came into my store last week!  Barbara Oehl was looking for the perfect clasp for her nearly finished collar.  Joyce, Nancy and I just had a field day looking it over.  The work is impeccable and very creative.  The bezels are super tight, and the whole thing is very well done.  Barbara told us she's spent 31 hours on it so far!  I just adore getting to see the amazing work you guys do.  I tell you, this is the absolute best part of my job!

New Classes at Bead World!

We've had a busy fall and winter at Bead World, launching a whole array of new classes!  If you haven't yet had the chance to check them out, it's your lucky day!  Check out the class schedules on our web site:

This popular and stylish bracelet wraps Swarovski pearls in a channel of rich leather ($30.00)

Peyote stitch is the single most versatile stitch a beader can learn.  This class teaches simple peote stitch in a clean, modern bracelet using size 11 Delica seed beads and a sterling silver slide clasp.  ($40.00)

Learn the graceful art of Japanese Kumihimo weave using nylon cord.  We'll show you in the class how to add beads for a more glamorous design and all of the equipment is yours to keep! ($45.00)
